Statuses

Every reception, batch, unit and shipment shows a status as a coloured badge. This page gathers them all. The colour always follows the same logic: grey before it starts, blue or amber while under way, green when done.

Reception

StatusColourMeaningWhat triggers it
DraftGreyThe reception is being entered: it can be edited, so can its batches, and it can be deleted. The first Save.
CompletedGreenThe load is received and counted. The reception is read-only; its batches are received. The Complete button, when the total units of the batches equals the expected quantity.

Completion is final: a completed reception never goes back to Draft. Details: Receptions.

Inbound batch

StatusColourMeaningWhat triggers it
Awaiting receptionGreyThe batch exists; its reception is still in Draft.Creating the batch from the reception.
ReceivedBlueThe reception is completed; no unit has been processed yet.Completing the reception.
ProcessingAmberAt least one unit has been degassed (or "No gas" recorded) or dismantled. The first operation at a processing workstation.
ProcessedGreenEvery unit of the batch is dismantled.Dismantling the last unit.

Undoing an operation at a workstation moves the batch back to the matching status. Putting a batch in inventory does not change its status. Details: Inbound batches.

Unit

A unit is one appliance in an inbound batch. Its status shows the last step completed.

StatusColourMeaningWhat triggers it
Awaiting receptionGreyThe batch's reception is not completed yet.Adding the unit to a batch whose reception is in Draft.
ReceivedGreyThe unit is received, but its model is not known yet.Completing the reception.
IdentifiedAmberThe unit's model is known; no operation is recorded yet.Identifying the unit (or undoing a degassing).
DegassedBlueThe degassing, or "No gas", is recorded; the unit still has to be dismantled.Record the degassing or Confirm: no gas (or undoing a dismantling).
ProcessedGreenThe unit is dismantled: its processing is finished.Dismantle.

On an inbound batch page, a unit that has been added but not saved yet shows Not saved. Details: Degassing and Dismantling.

Outbound batch

StatusColourMeaningWhat triggers it
OpenGreyThe batch is on no shipment: it can be edited and deleted.Creating the batch, removing it from a shipment, or deleting its shipment.
AssignedBlueThe batch is on a shipment in Draft. Its material is locked and it can no longer be deleted.Adding the batch to a shipment.
ShippedGreenThe batch has left: it is read-only and out of inventory.Ship on its shipment.

Being in inventory (stored at a location) is not a status: an Open or Assigned outbound batch may or may not be in inventory. Details: Outbound batches.

Shipment

StatusColourMeaningWhat triggers it
DraftGreyThe shipment is being prepared: everything can be edited and it can be deleted. The first Save.
ShippedGreenThe load has left. The shipment is read-only and can no longer be cancelled. The Ship button, which records the date, time and person.
