  • Degassing (Dégazage) — Recovering a unit's refrigerant gas: gas type, quantity and cylinder. See Degassing.
  • Dismantling (Démantèlement) — Last step of a unit's processing; the unit moves to Processed. See Dismantling.
  • Gap percentage (Pourcentage d'écart) — In the mass balance: (inputs − outputs) ÷ inputs × 100.
  • Gas (Gaz) — A material ticked Gas: refrigerant gas or blowing agent, with its family, usage type and GWP.
  • GHG (GES) — Greenhouse gases, expressed in tonnes of CO2 equivalent in the mass balance: weight shipped (kg) × GWP ÷ 1000.
  • GWP (PRP) — Global warming potential: kilograms of CO2 equivalent for one kilogram of gas. It is set on each gas material.

I – M

  • Identification corner (Coin d'identification) — Letter-size page with a QR code, stuck on an inbound or outbound batch to recognize it and open it with a scan. See QR codes and labels.
  • Identify (Identifier) — Record a unit's exact model (brand, model number, year), which gives its weight and its gas. See Inbound batches.
  • Inbound batch (Lot entrant) — Group of units that arrived with a reception (a pallet, a cage…). Numbered LE-n. See Inbound batches.
  • Inputs (Intrants) — In the mass balance, the weight of the units of completed receptions.
  • Inventory / Inventorize (Inventaire / Inventorier) — Store a batch at a warehouse location. An inbound batch in inventory must be removed from it before its units are processed. It is not a status.

  • Mass balance (Bilan de masse) — Report that compares, over a period, the weight of the units received (inputs) with the weight of the materials shipped (outputs). See Mass balance.
  • Material (Matière) — Substance recovered or shipped (steel, copper, plastic, R-134a gas…). See Materials.
  • Material category (Catégorie de matières) — Group of materials that gives them their icon; it is the "material nature" of the reports.
  • Model / Product (Modèle / Produit) — Catalogue entry for an appliance model: type, brand, model number, year, weight and, where relevant, gas and gas quantity.

N – P

  • No gas (Aucun gaz) — Result of a degassing where there was no gas to recover; it is recorded with a reason (no compressor, cut line, etc.). See Degassing.
  • Organization (Organisation) — Your company in RecyTrax. Its data (receptions, batches, users, settings) is visible only to its own users.
  • Outbound batch (Lot sortant) — A quantity of a single material ready to leave, with a weight. Numbered LS-n. See Outbound batches.
  • Outputs (Extrants) — In the mass balance, the weight of the shipped outbound batches.
  • Packaging (Emballage) — Reusable container (bin, cage, cylinder…), with a code and optionally a QR label. See Packagings.
  • Partner (Partenaire) — A company you work with: Carrier or Client. See Partners.
  • Permission (Permission) — The right to open a screen or perform an action. See Roles and permissions.

  • Product category (Catégorie de produits) — Group of product types; it is the "collected product group" of the reports. See Products.
  • Product type (Type de produit) — Appliance family (refrigerators, air conditioners, heat pumps…) used to count units at reception; it decides whether they go through degassing. See Products.
